![]() We were hungry and wanted to order a few appetizers from the restaurant across the pond to enjoy with our wine, especially given the unimpressive Charcuterie Board. Cheese and cured meats were unremarkable and poor quality. Sliced baguette was extremely stale and impossible to eat. We enjoyed our wine selections and the live music coming from the restaurant across the pond. ![]() The fact that all the 5 tastings were done in the same souvenir glass was not ideal, but expected. The area is beautiful and well shaded! Our host was pleasant, fun, and knowledgeable about the wine we were served. As soon as the tour was over we were seated under a tiki roof next to the pond for our wine tasting. The tour was boring, uneducational, and unimpressive to say the least. Perhaps a "fun facts about wine" trivia questions or "did you know?" kind of tidbits about wine and this winery would have made it a bit more engaging and fun. The tour guide was a pleasant young girl who struggled to find interesting and relevant material. What we saw instead were a few tiny rooms with a few machines which were not in use at the time of the tour. We were hoping to see the "behind the scenes" of a working winery. The entire winery was tiny and we walked it in less than 10 minutes before the tour even started. The "tour" was not at all what we expected. We paid $103 (with tax) for a "Wine Tasting and Tour Booking" for two which also includes a Charcuterie Board. However the winery is super small with not much to see or do. Pleasant live music gave an impression of a resort. When we arrived we found a compact, beautifully laid out and designed space. I was looking forward to a day at the Schnebly Winery with my husband who enjoys wine. Never going back, and it's not worth anyone's time. This place may be beautiful, but the management needs some serious help. At this point, we asked for our money back, which she gladly obliged, without hesitation, and without a care. Once she found it, she said she didn't know how long he wait would be and that she could go look and see if a table was open. After a slightly dirty look, she went and looked at the list, first claiming that she didn't see our name. When I asked one of them how long I still had to wait, she told me the list was on the other counter next to the lady that overloaded checking people out. I saw 3 other workers standing in the same room talking casually. There were at least 7 people in line waiting to buy wine, with only 1 person working. Then, after waiting OVER AN HOUR I went to the front to ask how long we would have to continue to wait. After complaining about the salad to the bartender (whom was the only nice person we encountered), she went to the back and gave me 3x more salad in my same to go box. It is standard to order from the bar and then go back to the bar in 20 minutes later to pick up your food in plastic to go containers. ![]() We ordered food and a drink in the meantime and spent $75 on a cup of soup, coconut shrimp, a handful of lettuce, and two glasses of wine in plastic cups!! Our poor excuse of a salad was $14!! On top of that nobody waited on us. We arrived at 5:15 with a group of 6 people and were not told how long the expected wait was. The next day we tried to make a reservation for wine tasting online prior to arriving, but found that they did not accept reservations the day of and were told on the phone that if we came around 5pm that the wait shouldn't be too long. The line was 6 people long and not one person was helped in 30 minutes, so we left and decided to come back the next day. ![]() Not having the time, we decided to get a drink at the bar instead. We were told without a reservation it was a 1.5 hour wait. Yesterday we showed up excited for a wine tasting, since the place had great reviews.
